Special edition — numbered and limited — of Brazil’s classic novel Macunaíma by Mário de Andrade. The book presents 16 silk screen illustrations, folded and glued within the pages of the book. Upon arriving at each illustration, the reader
may ignore them (keeping them folded) in a more ‘well behaved’ read, or open them — however and whichever they like — allowing the book to unfold in a series of graphic constructions, with a freneticism and ludic appeal that relates directly to the text itself.
