At the head of Casa Rex, Gustavo Piqueira has received over 500 international graphic design awards. His wide field of work is a reflection of the way he views design: as a dialogue. Therefore, the more dialogue there is, the richer the professional experience becomes. As a result of this approach, we witness not only his transition across all areas of graphic design, but also his ability to remove the typical boundaries and confines usually inherent within the profession, expanding his creativity with illustrations; objects; typography; and culminating in his 30 published books (which you can find more about here), all signified by a blend of design, history, art and literature.
